Rolling Over
When Daniel was about 2 months old, he figured out how to roll from tummy to back. We were absolutely thrilled to see him master that skill. I must stress that he knows how to do that. Go back a few days when I flipped on the monitor to discover that Daniel had rolled from back to tummy!! Yay Daniel!!! He's continuing to do that in his bed, but the little booger will not roll over for me when we play on a blanket during the day. The milestone is wonderful and all, but there is a catch. Daniel is not a huge fan of being on his tummy. He does well for a while but then gets very annoyed. Excpet for the little goon will not roll the other way!!! So now when he goes to nap, he inevitably will roll over and get all worked up about being on his tummy which as we all know is not condusive for going to sleep. Thus, I have to go back in and flip him over so he will sleep. He will get it all worked out eventually I know, but the rolling over wakes him up in the mid-morning when it's not quite time to wake up. This morning at about 6am he did his classic flip and woke up. Would he go back to sleep, of course not, because he kept rolling over!!!! Of course the early waking hour would not be as difficult if his mommy had not stayed up to watch the Oscars... Nevertheless, he will figure it out and I'm very sure will enjoy the new found movement to be a blessing when sleeping.
